My name is Dailisha Eve Rodriguez. Everyone calls me Dee. I am an Executive Director, Tedx Talk Presenter, Motivational Speaker, Empowerment Coach and Radio Show Host at Crown Confidential Radio. After my grandmother’s passing in 2014, I had an epiphany at her burial. As they were lowering her casket, I saw my life flash before my eyes. I realized in order to have her legacy live on, I had to reclaim my dreams. In February of 2015, I invited friends to my place to surprise them with my vision. With the support of an amazing team, I took all the money out of my savings, liquidated my stock, to invest in my dream, Hey There Beautiful Inc.

Hey There Beautiful is a 501C3 non-profit organization empowering women and young girls to achieve their dreams through education, motivation, self-awareness and self-development. We specialize in facilitating workshops, conferences, retreats, and events to empower communities, support individuals and groups to achieve personal and professional goals. We are the Recipient of the Champion of Sisterhood Award for Excellence in Leadership from the D.R.E.A.M. (Develop Rebuild, Elevate, Accomplish Maintain) Organization. We have also been awarded the Gems Among Us in recognition of leadership, dedication and outstanding commitment to empower others by Malik Melodies Sisterhood Inc.

Our current clientele include The New York City Department of Education, United Federation of Teacher, New York City Department of Mental Health and Hygiene, New York City Department of Youth & Community Development, Grand Street Settlement, Victory Collegiate High School, and the University of Connecticut. Hey There Beautiful Foundation has been featured on MSN.com and Reuters.

My hobbies include writing, reading, spending time with friends and family, fine dining, long drives, travel, dancing, karaoke, listening to music and sports talk radio. For fun I enjoy napping with my 3 year old Morkie Cosmo, playing cards, and mindfulness adult coloring books. I have been known to pop in and out of improv classes in NYC.
